After Sky Sports Sources revealed that the deal to take Paulo Dybala to Old Trafford is off due to the Argentine wanting to stay at the Serie A side and fight for his place, Manchester United and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer now need to find an alternative signing for the upcoming season.

James Maddison can also offer a lot more than just an attacking threat as he has proven his maturity being able to play a deeper role and managed 126 recoveries of possession during the season showcasing his versatility. Although this may be a more difficult deal to pull off for Manchester United, it would be one that would get the fans excited after the disappointment on missing out on Paulo Dybala.
